An Informal [re]Introduction
I'd first like to take a moment to briefly reintroduce myself; Something I plan on doing more often as Lockeland Leatherworks continues to grow and others begin to follow along.
My name is Joey Verzilli. I'm originally from Youngstown, Ohio, a Rust Belt town smack-dab between Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After college I spent a few years as a Media Producer in the Marketing and Advertising field. I always enjoyed working with my hands and spent a few years building guitars in my free time and entertaining the thought of studying lutherie. Music has and will always be a passion of mine, which is what initially drew me to Nashville.
I moved to Nashville in 2014 and almost immediately found a Marketing job as a Photographer and Video Producer. In an effort to discover a new outlet for my desire to work with my hands, I began leather work.
Fast Forward to December, 2016.
I said goodbye to my 9 to 5 and decided to give Lockeland Leatherworks a solid go. I still hand craft every piece and operate Lockeland Leatherworks out of my East Nashville home. Had I not found myself in Nashville and met so many uniquely talented people pursuing their own passions I don't know that I would have ever taken the plunge.
To every single person who has offered their advice, council, and motivation -

Updates to Existing Collection
From the list above #5, figuring out how to run a sustainable business, is most important. The existing collection will undergo a few adjustments to aid in the longevity of Lockeland Leatherworks. There will be a minor price increase on the Calvin, Stratton, and Stratton+ wallets. This increase will allow me the opportunity to continue making each piece with my utmost attention and confidence as Ipursue Lockeland Leatherworks as my career.
New product pricing is as follows:
These handmade wallets are the foundation on which Lockeland Leatherworks was built and I believe they are a great value, an incredible investment, and necessaryLockeland Leatherworks' story.
All Good Things...
The Ordway and Ordway+ are Lockeland Leatherworks' flagship designs. These wallets mean a lot to me as a maker, as they were the first to be consciously and creatively designed.
As they say, "All good things must come to an end." Unfortunately, the time has come to say goodbye to the Ordway & Ordway+.
Ordway Wallets will be available for order until February 13th, 2017. All Ordway Wallets will ship with a 3-Pack of Field Notes Brand Notebooks.
"You Spin Me Right 'Round, Baby..."

"I'm not writing it down to remember it later, I'm writing it down to remember it now."
If you're anything like me, you too believe that there is no substitute for putting ink to paper. Whether I'm jotting down a to-do list to reconcile the clutter in my mind or designing leather goods, everything begins on a page in my Field Notes.
I've been using Field Notes for years and I'm both excited and proud to share these products alongside my offering.
Before I say, "See ya next time,"...
It's now February and Valentine's Day is right around the corner. I feel this is the perfect opportunity to share a Spotify playlist including some of my favorite love songs.
I'll have this playing in the shop while I'm waiting to be struck by Cupid's arrow. Whether you're in love or out of it, take a listen and feel free to share anything you think I need to hear.
